Samsung locked SmartThings personal tokens to 24 hours. That is their rule — it cannot be extended. The lasting path is the same local socket Samsung’s own second-screen apps use. A website cannot impersonate the Bluetooth SolarCell remote (iPhone has no Web Bluetooth; the TV’s BLE protocol is closed).

  1. 1. Phone and TV on the same Wi‑Fi. Find the TV address in your router’s device list (look for Samsung) or under Network Status on the set — the clicker under the logo opens the menu.
  2. 2. Open the trust link. Accept the warning. If you land on a 401 page or a blob of JSON tags — that is the TV answering. Close that tab and pair here. A popup then appears on the set; press Allow with the joystick under the logo.
